HON OGUNDIPE CASTS VOTE, DELIVERS RESOUNDING VICTORY FOR APC AT POLLING UNIT
In a show of confidence and grassroots strength, Hon. (Otunba) Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode, popularly known as OMOJ'OMOLO and the Member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, cast his vote earlier today at his polling unit in Oshodi and emerged victorious for the All Progressives Congress (APC)
Amid chants of support from enthusiastic constituents, Hon. Ogundipe arrived at the polling unit early in the morning, greeted by electoral officials and local residents. Clad in traditional attire and exuding calm assurance, he performed his civic duty, casting his vote with a visible sense of purpose.
As the votes were tallied later in the afternoon, the APC had secured a decisive win at the polling unit with APC polled 153 to PDP's 03 in the Chairmanship and APC 146 to PDP's 08 in the Councillorship elections, and supporters erupting in celebration. The outcome was seen as a strong endorsement of Hon. Ogundipe’s performance in office and his continued commitment to community development, youth empowerment, and inclusive representation.
Speaking briefly after the announcement of results, Hon. Ogundipe thanked the people for their unwavering support: “This victory is not mine alone, it belongs to every man, woman, and youth of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-1. It shows that our people believe in continuity, good governance, and the future we are building together under the APC.”
Community leaders and party faithful described the win as a “signal of greater victories to come,” praising OMOJ'OMOLO for his consistent grassroots engagement and impactful legislative work.
The peaceful conduct of the voting process was also commended by observers and security agencies, who noted the orderly behavior of voters and the professionalism of LASIEC officials on duty.
