A PATHWAY TO PEACE AND GREATNESS EMERGES, AS OSHODI-ISOLO MANDATE GROUP RECONCILES

Wednesday 18th September will remain a day of reckoning in the political affairs of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government of Lagos State. The Mandate Movement (TMM) held what could be termed a unity rally where all contentious caucuses came together to harmonize their position to forge a common front and reposition the group in All Progressive Congress (APC).
The memories of the day will lingers for a long time as all factions of the movement unanimously agreed to work under the able leadership of Alhaji OmoKehinde Olorun-oje.
The large turn out of members adorning various insignia in orange colors of the movement at Owoseni Primary School, the venue of the strategic meeting was an affirmation and acceptance of the leadership by all relevant factions in the movement.
Alhaji OmoKehinde Olorun-oje, the leader of the movement in his remarks welcomed everyone and appreciated them for turning out in large numbers for the very important meeting with shortest notice. He acknowledged the support he enjoyed from Chief S.O Aina, a member of The Mandate Movement and the APC Apex Leader in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government and all the leaders in the Local Government. He thereafter officially announced the demise of the leader of Justice Forum and Deputy Apex Leader; Evangelist Fidelis Olukayode Osho and he called for the observation of a minute silence. He prayed God Almighty shall grant him eternal rest and the repose of his soul.
Alhaji Olorun-oje disclosed that he was mandated by the leadership and State Working Committee to reconcile all aggrieved factions and ensure a lasting peace reigns supreme within the movement in the local government. He thereafter confirmed the harmonized list of the executive saddled with the running of the movement's affairs.
In the same vein, the Lagos Assembly Spokesperson, Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode (OMOJ'OMOLO) confirmed the ratification of the harmonized the executive by the State leadership of the movement. He urged anyone that truly love the movement to join the mainstream where majority of relevant leaders aligned as seen at the meeting.
"As we all can see, this meeting nip in the bud all insinuations of factions and division in the Mandate movement having taken care of all interests. I am appealing to those outside not to waste time to come on board the moving train." Ogundipe reiterated.
Meanwhile, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government came in solidarity to the movement expressed his happiness at the resolution of the internal crisis which will invariably consolidate the activities of the party in the Local Government. Other notable personalities who took turn to speak on unity, dedication and commitment to the common cause and task ahead are Hon (Mrs) Modupe Badmus-Aregbe; the Vice Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Leader of the legislative arm; Hon Rasheed Obasa, Hon. Barr. Kayode Tinubu (KayTee); former Vice Chairman of the local government, Hon. Sunday Akinwale, Hon. Abosede Rasheedat Agbabiaka; the Supervisor for Inter-Govermental Relations, Chief Akeju, Alhaji K. Shittu, Mr Wande Anibiire, Mr M.F Ogundiimu, Alhaji Balogun, Hon Babatunde Dokunmu and host of others.
The move that truly showed pathway to peace and greatness was the unveiling of the approved list of the executive that will run the affairs of the movement which carefully contained names from all caucuses who have now resolved to work as a team.
Mr Kolawole Yakubu was the Acting Secretary in the absence of the substantive Secretary. Chief S.O Aina, High Chief Jimoh Adebayo and Comrade Samson Agbetoye (The Secretary ) were unavoidably absent and all sent in their goodwill messages as presented at the meeting.
