YABA LCDA Supervisory Councillor, Hon Afeni Renews hope of Traders in Yaba Community

 



It was a day of appreciation and prayer on Wednesday as the Supervisory Councilor for  Yaba local council development Area (LCDA) Hon Seyi Afeni renewed the hope of Traders in Yaba Community with the distributing of cash grants for support their businesses. 



The enthusiastic traders poured prayers on the donor for coming to the aid of the traders,students and the vulnerable in the society 



The ICT guru turned politician has  also embarked on education support for the students ,as well as ICT training for indigent youth so as to equip them digitally. 




Speaking at the occasion, Hon Afeni disclosed that he is merely giving back to the society from the little God has given to him,promising to increase the number of traders later..



The youthful Politician had earlier in the year supported Onitiri community with electricity.




In his words " let me thank the almighty God for the privilege. The community made me ,so ,its important that I equally plough back by supporting our traders,students and the the youth who are the future. I am doing it out of my meagre resources,but I will not relent in  giving back to Yaba Community as a whole. It's a pledge and I will always remember my people"


Hon Afeni is currently running a free online ICT training for youth in Yaba and environs ,while another food support programme of his will hold in Makoko community on 8th November 


The five appreciative traders  commended hon Afeni for the gesture ,while praying for long life for him as well as success in political endeavors. 



Each of the traders received the sum of  fifty thousand naira each in the third edition of the Hon. Afeni Traders Support programme
