STATE POLICE: OSHODI ISOLO CONSTITUENCY 1 LAWMAKER,HON. OGUNDIPE MOVES MOTION AS LAGOS ASSEMBLY REAFFIRMS SUPPORT
The lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01, Hon. Stephen Ogundipe, on Wednesday moved a motion at the Lagos State House of Assembly reaffirming the legislature's support for the establishment of State Police as a strategic response to Nigeria's growing security challenges. Hon. Ogundipe, who serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Information Strategy and Security, sponsored the motion, which was seconded by Hon. Aro Moshood. The motion sought to encourage other State Houses of Assembly across the federation to embrace the initiative and prepare for its implementation as part of the ongoing constitutional amendment process.
